Petition to: Huntington University President Dr. Sherilyn Emberton

Whereas: Huntington University is supposedly a Christian college; and

Whereas: Your administration is giving SFLA student leaders the cold shoulder and ignoring their requests to start an official group; and

Whereas: Your administration said a pro-life group would be “too political” and they didn’t want it to be a “nationally affiliated” group, even though many of the other clubs are; and

Whereas: The First Amendment of the U.S. Bill of Rights clearly forbids any encroachment on both the right to free speech and the right to assemble peacefully.

Therefore: I demand that you allow this pro-life student to exercise their right to start a Students for Life group on your campus, and that you cease all future biased or unfair treatment of pro-life students.
